a bit PISSED right now and I shall explain. FIRST: the Bo Burnham threat. SECOND: it's kind of unbelievable the way Cassie was offed and it bothers me. The film spent so much time building her up; she was molded so well, and I felt she had every right to react and attempt to reconcile with a traumatic past in such a brutal manner. I saw a bit of myself in her. However, why was she smothered like some animal and then burnt to ashes?
Maybe it's me personally. I'm fully aware films don't necessarily owe us a particularly happy ending. But it's not clicking, it's not clicking.
EDIT: OK I've sat with it and...well...I kind of understand why it ends that way!
