  I sincerely expected not to like this one, both because I wasn’t a fan of the first one and the runtime scared me. 

  Seeing it theaters, it’s very hard not to be dazzled by the quality of the special effects. The degree to which so many of the aliens in this movie seem real is remarkable. And this James Cameron guy seems to know a thing or two about framing a cool shot.
