The Fifth Seal

The Fifth Seal ★★★★★

"9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."

-Revelations 6

The setup for a practical joke becomes:

◉ An exploration of human psychology
◉ The double moral behind a hypothetical moral dilemma
◉ A scalping of the fragile and nonsensical motivations of war, torture and violence
◉ A desecration of pseudo-philosophical influences on youth about the concern for human conflict
◉ The life-changing power of how a single question can make you reflect over your real motivations and the impulse to stand for them
◉ A rich analysis of how the human race, throughout the passage of millennia, has developed several religious, cultural and sociopolitical ideologies contradictory between each other, but all of them opposed to God
◉ An act of reassuring God's Divine wisdom and will over all
◉ An act of reassuring, with equal potent power, how the devil is the prince and governor of this world (John 14:30) because man left God willingly (Psalm 78:22; John 1:11)

Superior cinema, a moral wrecking-ball that forgives no one, with nightmarish splashes of cognitive dissonance to invade our illusion of life and the "confort" we think we have over certain commodities that we take for granted...

...when the reality is: you chose no circumstance in your life, and you don't choose any outcome because they are out of human measure.
