  this was the dorkiest shit in the world, but still pretty entertaining for a lifetime movie. having it set in vegas for no reason leads to shenanigans such as an elf with a gambling addiction falling in love with a hooker. now that’s a christmas movie i can relate to!

  the animation may be crude, but this is an utterly devastating depiction of PTSD/dissociative identity disorder symptoms developed as a result of abuse. if i had reviewed this short after first seeing it in high school, i probably would have said something like “this is what they showed alex in ‘a clockwork orange’.”
