An exploration on the concept of entertainment, art, and the perceptions that we have towards them.

What can be easily looked at as a documentary about forgers, ends up becoming a conversation about the viewpoints we have towards any form of artistic concepts that there are in the world.

It's riveting to watch, and certainly eye-opening to realize.

Most of all, I feel as though I was played by Welles throughout the film, leading me to believe one thing, and then pulling the rug under me, questioning my perception about certain ideas that are explored in the film, which are many that I think about every day.

So ahead of its time now that I think about it, who knows what else we are bound to question in our reality if art itself can be called into question.
