-I think it's dumb to debate what genre a movie falls into, but to briefly contradict myself I don't think this is horror. In fact, it's the most fun I've had at the movies in quite some time!

-Florence Pugh gets my oscar, as well as my emmy! (go watch the little drummer girl, errybody it's quality!) For real, everyone did so well in making this but she carries the entire thing, and was able to give me chills and memories of grief in like 15 wordless seconds.

-Even if this doesn't end up being my number one of the year, I have absolutely no complaints upon first watch! As with anything, changes could be made, but I don't think there's anything that doesn't work here.

-I'd like to publicly state it is the polar opposite of Eli Roth's many "americans abroad" horrors, which is the highest praise in this whole review
