Mental Disorders in Cinema: 150+ Great Depictions

Note: in dire need of an update. Prior to adding Tyrannosaur, Frownland, Notes on a Scandal, & To the Bone on 12/03/17, and Nyctophobia today, I hadn't added to (or removed from) this list in nine months or so.

I got my bachelor's degree in abnormal psychology, and I've always been interested in the depiction of this subject matter in cinema. This list covers a very broad range illnesses and even includes films which only briefly cover certain specific disorders (e.g. the character of Curtis' mother in Take Shelter).
