Optimistic Hedonism

Many films portray the hedonistic lifestyle of young people but the majority of them -- not that this is a bad thing, as I personally adore the following two films -- such as Spring Breakers and Palo Alto, or even the work of Larry Clark, for instance, portray said hedonism through a more cynical lens. On the other hand films like American Honey, for example, while somewhat bleak, ultimately possess a more hopeful and confident outlook. Those are the sort of films I'm currently searching for so, please, if you have any recommendations of additions to this list (especially films about women, which are lacking here), drop them in the comments.
