Barbie 2023
i wanted to love this. it has a lot of heart and definitely brings a lot to the table thematically, though never really drives any of its points home which left me there thinking ‘huh, i wonder why they included that!’ also in a way acts as a sort of just-smile-and-nod experience where you just accept everything you’re being told and ignore its flagrant endorsement of the very thing it seeks to criticize. idk i guess i just wish this…
