DNF at about an hour bc of the most infuriating audience experience. guy in front of me kept checking his bright ass apple watch. guy sat one seat away from me and kept tapping his foot during quiet scenes. a whole extended family took up the back row, and they talked the whole time at full volume.

disappointed that, afaik, they haven't reprinted tenth of december as a mass market paperback with a shitty photoshopped cover and retitled it SPIDERHEAD AND OTHER STORIES - NOW A NETFLIX ORIGINAL FILM with george saunders name at the bottom in tiny font. the film's whole existence feels like it would be a joke plot point in a charlie kaufman movie or something about how like a neurotic writer/academic feels ennui after his brainy short story gets adapted into a dumb action thriller by the jocks who did deadpool & a michael bay movie

they nostalgia baited with the fucking mosquito. they made a leo-pointing-at-the-screen "omg i recognize that" EPIC moment with The Mosquito That Drinks The T-Rex Blood. dire times for populist cinema

cheers to 9 years of defending this movie.. got in a very heated debate about this in study hall one time
