    Midnight Mass

mike flanagan has really done it again. i finally sat down to watch this in one sitting and it was pretty good. amazing performances, and some interesting commentary on religion. the storyline felt like a little too much for me at times, like not as interesting as i had hoped. i understand many people saying this is his best work, but hill house is held in a special place in my heart. i also loved the addition to the hot priest genre. but anyways mike flanagan is amazing at horror and i cant wait to see what he does next.

    Magic Mike XXL

i kind of cheated with this one bc i didn’t actually watch the whole thing. i put it on literally just for donald glover and then when his part was over i turned it off. all the men were annoying in this obviously except for donald glover. and don’t even get me started on amber heard 🙄🙄🙄

    Dazed and Confused

finally watched this bc my history teacher made fun of me for never seeing it and i totally get why this is a classic idk why it took me so long to finally watch. also why was every guy in this movie hot (minus ben affleck) very much not realistic in high school. i also couldn’t get over jodi being the daughter from coneheads i just kept imagining her with a cone head the whole time.

  • Rushmore

my eyes are very much not dry right now. this was great i was so impressed. i went in knowing nothing about jonathan larson or what this movie was even about. rent is one of my favorite musicals, it was so great to find out about who made it. i really love what andrew garfield is doing recently and stepping out of his norm with his recent movies. side note, i’ve been a fan of alexandra shipp ever since that british nickelodeon show house of anubis that no one ever talked about (i was a die hard fan), i’m so happy she’s so big now.

  • Inside Llewyn Davis

    Inside Llewyn Davis

i don’t think i get the hype for this movie. i expected to love it but there was no plot so i found myself bored at times. it just wasn’t something that could resonate with me. but oscar isaac looked so fine so that makes up for it!
