The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
This is insane. 2x the bodies, Grandpa is still alive?!, and coked-out Dennis Hopper!
The film follows a radio host (Caroline Williams) who records the brutal murder of two young men over the phone. Lefty (Dennis Hopper), a formal Texas marshall, uses her for the recording to prove to the people that there are evil murderers in the town. This backfires on them horribly, and the Sawyer family comes for them.
Tobe Hooper made a fun, but still very disturbing, sequel to his masterpiece. This is not a masterpiece, but it's pretty damn good. The Grandpa bucket scene still wasn't funny, and the ending is tragic, and just like this first one. I don't see really think that Stretch becomes the next Sawyer from all of the torture she went through and how she does the Leatherface swinging at the ending, but I do think that she is irreversibly disturbed, and it is not fun.
It has a few problems but it's Hooper and Hopper and that's enough for me.
