    Bottoms injects a freshly weird and absurd perspective into the mostly dormant high school comedy genre, and I appreciate it!

    My only wish is that they took it a little further. At times it felt like an I Think You Should Leave sketch but then it would fall back into a more conventional formula and I wished they’d just go all the way with it!
    I never wanted to feel at any point like I was ahead of where this movie was going.

    That being said, sensational performances across the board, particularly from Sennott and Edebiri who continue to impress me time after time.

    Additionally, this was an excellent consolation prize after failing to secure tickets to the actual live show.

    While I would’ve loved to have seen more from Molly’s (Lilly Gladstone) perspective and learnt more about the Osage people from the Osage people… Scorsese makes his point clear that their voice, their culture, their presence will slowly be eradicated piece by piece as the film progresses.
    And that’s the point.

    In what is a sobering time for Australia’s relationship to our own indigenous people, Killers of the Flower Moon shows the insidious evil of colonial influence and craven capitalistic…
