i was thinking about how both of these people are so irritating that it would be a nightmare to be in lock down with them for even 2 hours and then i realized i literally did that by watching this movie.

i actually think this is really good emotional filmmaking. vanessa kirby out of this world. a piece of her heartache will stick with me.

delighted at the silliness of this one, struck by the ingenuity which fritz lang can at once make the audience laugh and deliver a compelling crime drama. the dorky austrian siblings, the cake drama, words like "orthotex private inquiry"

eroticism of the future, which inevitably leads to isolation. don't think it's as simple as that by any means, my brain feels smoother than usual today. but making movies about advanced technological sexuality...cronenberg rules as always.

formally very cool. i love nocturnal odysseys. wish i clicked with this one more.

mm it all feels too expected. one feels a step ahead of the film at most times. joanna kulig is great here, however, as is juliette binoche.
