this film was so beautifully in every way. I cried like a little bitch, the trickery smh! the plot was so clever. keira and james wow take my heart please! why haven’t I put myself through this trauma soon???

The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society 2018
This film is utterly stunning and SO underrated. I haven’t heard enough hype around this and I think is purely because people have jumped to conclusions to what the plot is about. I’ve never been so moved by a film before, Lily James’ performance was so pure and beautiful honestly deserves nominations next year SO GOOD. Ugh I loved this film, the plot kept giving and giving, so unexpected! When will I stop crying!! LOVED IT

Loved the cinematography/mise en scene, quirky and original way of attacking a plot. Also a plot I’ve never seen before. Loved the soundtrack!! Yet I got bored often and it was strange and a bit stop/start cutting to and from different points which made the narrative confusing at times. Overall refreshing to see something so different for once. (also Harris and Jonah are right dishes xx)
