Letterboxd — Your life in film

I could watch Paul Giamatti's and Dominic Sessa's banter for days. The writing is incredibly smart and witty. Da'Vine Joy Randolph's performance is amazing and heart wrenching. I can tell this will be many people's favorite Christmas movie for years to come. I know it's already one of mine.

This is so good. One of those non-horror horror movies that repulsed me and kept me engaged the entire way through.

I really don't think this movie deserves the hate it's getting. The cinematography is beautiful. The acting is great. It has a fun (albeit predictable) twist. My wife and I liked it a lot.

Equal parts entertaining and stressful.

Dialogue heavy mystery with some satisfying twists and turns. I liked it.

The ending sucked. This felt like a mid and bloated black mirror episode, but I gave it an extra half-star anyway for Jessie Buckley

A couple funny jokes here n there didn't make this feel any less out of touch or tired

Honestly a pretty cool monster design. I expected a lot worse.

Not nearly as bad as the first. Some relatively effective spooks here n there. The ending is a bit all over the place and it definitely suffers from bloat, but for a Nun horror movie I expected worse.
