"I became another woman, yet I was more myself than ever before."

Mmmm. The composition of this film is like watching a dream. The sets, the cinematography, the saturation, the lighting, the editing, the acting, the costumes, the editing, the music, it all come together to create such a rich, hazy, atmosphere, reminiscent of what I loved so much about Call Me by Your Name. it was probably a good thing that rachel weisz wasn’t in this film more because every time she came on screen i was just blinded... couldn’t look directly at her it was like looking into the sun.. she’s beautiful now but her ethereal look in 2002 is just indescribable.... she was SHINING. i need to lay down

(regarding the rest of the movie it was cute and surprisingly well acted, but the script was a bit repetitive and on the nose. my mom laughed a lot tho so i’m satisfied. can’t believe half of the main cast of the favourite is in this)

i've never been amazed by emma…

Let's start with a tiny disclaimer that I'm not tryna say that there aren't layers to this movie. There are, for sure. It's an expertly written, crafted and realised film and it gives the viewer a lot to think…
