A lovely fantasy film from the early 80s, afore my birth that has some really delirious characters. The filmmaking technique involved to realise this fantasy world is most endearing because watching this film reminded me of how much digital imaging techniques have evolved. This movie had wonderful matte paintings that look like PAINTINGS and not the sharp photorealistice matte paintings we often see in films like LOTR and such. Other than that the story is simple and engaging. Not really a review this...
