Speaking on behalf of what I am semi-qualified to speak about this documentary are the way 13th also touches into other sosial issues like media's influence. The media influence perspective on civil rights gives the documentary a depth which can only be described as thought-provoking and disturbing - especially The Birth of a Nation. Very interesting, a must see.
