Emil Woerner’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is a massively pleasant and light hearted, yet deeply well prepared investigation into psychedelic drugs and their effects on creative people and people with mental illnesses. I mean, I don’t know where to start with the guests here, such a variety of people, of ages, of careers, of stories, it’s just a really entertaining string of anecdotes, brought together in a super enjoyable way. Very bold move for Netflix to sign off on this film, but I hope it educates folks on psychedelics and helps destigmatize them for uneducated people. The doc has a lot to say about the positive and negative effects of these drugs, and I hope people enjoy it. Between this and The Midnight Gospel, Netflix is on a tear with the top quality psychedelic content. Who would’ve thought?
