I genuinely believe this is one of the most underrated movies of the last decade or so. Comedies are always shafted by critics with their nose so far up their arse that they believe every single movie need to deliver some deep, thought-provoking and original take on any given abstract theme. No, it doesn’t. Fun, cute, charm and stellar perfomances are more than enough from a comedy.

After the 4th viewing of director Park Chan-wook's magnum opus 'Oldboy', I finally feel comfortable accepting this as my favorite film of all time. The intricately weaven story of Oh Dae-su's search for the whereabouts of the man who kidnapped and imprisoned him for 15 years, and the answers to why, is a mysterious journey full of twists and turns that utilize the audiovisual medium of cinema to the fullest.
