My favourite in the series and one of the best horror movies of the 80s, this just gives me all the vibes. I love it so much. I love Kristen rockin with Dokken and her mom coming in all scandalized before flouncing off to bang some guy. I love badass Nancy coming back and teaming up with Dr. Actor Who Looks Like Bill Maher But Isn't Bill Maher. I love 80s kids playing D&D, I never played but it still gives me the cosies. I love the wonderful characters who could be tropey but are all loveable and memorable and you genuinely feel sad when they die (and part 4 can fuck right off). I love Freddy's crazy ass backstory, and this is my fave Freddy performance. I love when Kristen pulls Nancy into her dream the first time and I even love the gut-wrenching ending - this movie went for it, man - that's eased a little by the best closing credits theme EVER. Thank you Dokken for all the rockin! 🎸
