I missed many chunks of this and it’s very scary I’m turning it off now actually but there’s something very beautiful about it and the body horror is wowza but also nice! Too long

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound

  • Vampire's Kiss

    Vampire's Kiss

    ★★★★

this movie is great cuz this it reminds me of how predators act and nic cages performance is such a perfect mockery of how delusional and ignorant they are. It’s like American psycho except I can actually watch it cuz cage is full clown mode. It can be hard to watch but as a survivor I find it hilarious. It works for me.

  • Bo Burnham: Inside

If anyone was gonna do this, I’m glad it was bo. Good ol bo with a head full of demons and a voice like a fiddle

  • Phantom of the Paradise

Wastes no time. Plays no games. (Phantom of the opera + Faust + swan lake) x (70s glam rock + gothic expressionist style) = the movie love of my life. William Finley is a delight

  • Jennifer's Body

Jokes can be corny/outdated but overall a joy

Schrödingers Boy I love you so 🌹
Such a beautiful movie. Beautiful soundtrack, score, ideas, and themes. Frustrating and tender and sad and clever. And fucking funny. Mad world montage always makes me have a good cry

  • Black Swan

    Black Swan

    ★★★★★

This movie is so wonderfully crafted. The roles are so well written and casted. The score with Tchaikovsky has my heart. I feel the pain and motion through Portman so clearly. Gets better and feels different every time I watch it. Brava brava👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌹🌹🌹

  • Return to Oz

    Return to Oz

    ★★★★★

Honest, terrifying, wonderful, sad, and beautiful. It being somewhat of a sequel use to really bug me but I now think it’s a perfect response to the Garland film. Really captures what being a young girl can feel like. Plot and effects are beautiful. I wish there were somehow more of it, I enjoy it so.✨
