Enfant du Siècle’s review published on Letterboxd:
While I felt it was a little slow at times, especially at the beginning, I think it's somehow necessary to take the time to build the framework of this rich and intricate story. Furthermore, the many parts that compose the film, from Polanski's direction, the visual elements (costumes, production design), the screenplay, and the performances by Nicholson and Dunaway, kept me engaged. I've read a lot of people had an issue with the ending but I liked how tragic and bleak it turned out. Overall I'd say it's a notable film and worth your time.
