Initially hesitant to see this because Donna Sheridan was such a formative character for me growing up and to have her be killed off just like that stung.
But holy shit, that Dancing Queen sequence -- it's like seeing the culmination of everything that Donna Sheridan stood for. It's a celebration of the fact that she existed at all, and made all of that happen. It's one of the most exhilarating moments I've had in a theater, and made losing Donna sting a little less.
And then My Love, My Life happened and SJKFIKFKLFLLFLFLRLGKKVKDK HOLY SHIT THERE SHE IS!!!!!!!!!!!! OH NO
Also Julie Walters and Stellan Skarsgard, and Cher snd Andy Garcia just straight up making out added 10 years to my life.
