Those comunists are really scary, aren't they?
I am not used to cry to modernist architecture, but Columbus is the exception. Not only the calming vibe, the inspiring art, the same feeling and narrative style you have when you watch Before Sunrise, I just feel wholesome yet crying. Thought the architecture somehow may appear to be apathetic, the whole movie is an intimate humane conversation.
Haley Lu offers one of the most gorgeous cry, it makes you feel the same purposelessness she feels. The scenes where she cries, then laughs, then keep the conversation normally are quite fulfulling.
It's safe to say this is one of my favorite movies.
