This was just so awesome. It's hard to say much about it without just giving a rubdown of what happens.
But suffice it to say it is a great commentary on consumerism, humanitarianism, environmentaliam and just the interaction of most human culture as a whole.
Damon is more than capable as a lost but hopeful soul.
Waltz as Dusan is an absolute JOY to watch and Chau and Ngoc Lan Tran is both bitter-sweet and HILARIOUS!
Do yourself a favour and give this one a look!
Okay, so I give this a good score because of the AMAZING writing skills behind it. Every single thing that happens is a duality, it can be seen from either side of the argument and that is fucking amazing writing and utterly fantastic....
On the other hand lady bird was a fucking impudent BITCH and I found it really hard to relate to her....
This one is hard, because there really isn't much TO 'like' about it, the people are horrible, they do horrible things in even more disgustingly horrible ways.
But at the same time the way it is presented is just so FASCINATING!
watching Mary slowly but surely become detached from everything she is doing is the real showstopper here. the way one bad (Admittedly horrible and pretty vile) act against an otherwise bright but struggling student can shake her world so…
I thought this was pretty darn good!
I haven't read the book, so I can't be disappointing by the exclusions or changes.
There were some really great scenes in this film, and some pretty unique concepts (but at the same time some equally derivative ones) not least of which is the scene where the zombie horde just starts a giant 'stacks on' pile to scale a wall. (not a spoiler, it's in all the trailers and even the poster attached…
Much like the first film, this is FAR less ridiculous than the premise suggests.
Don't get me wrong, it's a fun ride, and some pretty weird stuff happens. But it never pushes the boundary so far as to become overly farcical
The acting is fine for the style and the special effects are once again too notch.
Again, I love the space craft designs they use however the Götterdämmerung was probably better than the alien vessel we see here (I'm…
I didn't know what to expect from this movie. I had literally only discovered it's existence that afternoon, luckily, it was showing on a streaming service and so I decided to pop it on.
Glad I did.
It was fun, and a bit left of centre. Sure there was a bit of racism we could have done without but thst aside I found this to be a fairly charming comedy/crime parody. The humour is incredibly dry, and not likely to…
If by "The Hellcats go full throttle" you actually mean, meander around doing not much of anything at all.
Even the finale showdown was pretty "meh"
I'll say it's not all bad, it's a fairly decent "Grind house" and or exploitation flick, it's got an okay story. The acting is about what you'd expect, and of course this is about "biker gangs" so if you're expecting strippers and nudity, you'll get that in spades.
I will say I…
OKay, this was TECHNICALLY bad.
WE literally spend about 10 minutes watching 3 pervs listening to 2 firls get paddle-spanked. (No really) the acting is only okay at best, and the 'evil imp' is pretty laughable.
I feel like the actors took the situation and just ramped it to 11, making it super fun to watch.
Also the relationship between Spider and Calvin actually seems genuine, and seems to grow in a super organic way that you don't see in even big budget films.
Campy, Stupid, Laughable, Endearing, Delightful!
I watched this because the character pops up in passing in the Evil Bong series.
I've seen a few "full Moon' films and this is quite easily the worst so far. that's saying a lot.
Bad acting, Bad plot, bad effects, Killjoy looks ridiculous.
I didn't know you could screw up a "killer Clown" movie so badly until I saw this.
Much like the "Sharknado" films, I harshly judged the first, only to sincerely enjoy the rest of the series, so I will be watching the sequel for this at SOME POINT, but I'm certainly not rushing out to do so.
Not sure why everyone hates this so much?
It was silly, without being ridiculous.
It stressed the importance of family and telling the truth.
It had heart and a good forgiveness arc.
It showed a side of the music industry (a little skewed of course, for humour) you wouldn't normally see.
The songs are quite Catchy and tailored for a modern family dynamic.
It doesn't make fun of the gay character.
Maybe that's is supposed problem, it's funny, and full of content, but none of it is offensive. It's too wholesome to be any good?
Watch this movie!
It's very rare that you sincerely can't guess what's going on.
You think "OH! so that's it" then something else happens and you think, "Wait, so that's it?" then another, and another, ping-ponging your theory from here to there until you just think "Y'know what, I have no clue, I'll just watch to find out"
From the opening sequence at the bank, you know you're in for something special. It's light-hearted and farcical, but it has a…
"When life gives you shit, you make cool-aid"
This was surprisingly good for an action movie.
Without a doubt, the charisma of the dual leads really made it. the 'odd couple' vibe mixed with excellent banter.
There were also some fantastic one liners.
Yes, it's a bit predictable, but what mainstream action film isn't these days (no, really if you know, tell me)
The 'climatic' vehicular chase scene where everything is ramped to 11 and physics seem to stop counting…
