Somehow both relentlessly fast paced and a time prison. Never really emotionally latched onto it at any point, but shit if there’s any filmmaker I’m gonna see in theaters every time for sheer unadulterated craft, it’s Baz Luhrmann and I got everything I’d want out of an Elvis biopic with him behind the camera. Feels like the logical endpoint to the musical biopic, because shit where do we go from here?
