Here is my history with the Predator franchise. The 1987 original is a sure-fire classic and is one of my top ten favorite films of all time. The 1990 sequel is difficult to watch, as it's very poorly acted and completely lacking in tension and suspense. 2010's Predators was a huge step up and a genuinely excellent sequel. 2018's The Predator was a dumb but fun entry that I find underrated. Andrew Traucki made one of the best crocodile films ever in Black Water, and then followed it up with a belated sequel in Black Water: Abyss, which unfortunately was a mediocre, subpar follow up. Traucki also made one of the best shark films ever with 2010's The Reef, and much like with Black Water, he returns to the well with a belated sequel. How does this one fare?

The Reef: Stalked stars Teressa Liane as Nic, a young Australian woman…
