Eric Heiman’s review published on Letterboxd:
Of all the former eastern Soviet bloc countries, why Romania? Why is Romanian film so singular? I’ve seen a grab bag of Romanian films over the last 10 years or so, by a variety of directors, and they’ve all been home runs. Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn is no different. Part farce, part history lesson, all satire, alternately hilarious and chilling, often in the same beat. What’s in Bucharest’s drinking water, anyway? I’d like a sip, please.
