Eric Heiman’s review published on Letterboxd:
Education might be the underrated gem of the Small Axe series. It’s certainly undercooked and too short, but for the first time in this five film opus, the characters evoke the injustices through flesh and blood characterizations rather than didactic speechifying.
If anything, what is left unsaid by these people communicates the most—and most powerfully. Others may prefer the more obvious expressions of outrage in Mangrove and Red, White and Blue, but for me Education hit much, much harder.
