Summertime ★★★½

Could use a 20 minute or so trim, but absolutely impossible to not fall for Katherine Hepburn as a middle-aged woman who has never been in love and comes to Venice in the hopes that she'll find a hottie. Also love how Lean refrains from moral judgments, and even has Renato express how unimportant and unnecessary it is for us to find reasons (even adultery!) to stay unhappy and alone.
