I am doing this year's Hooptober for charity and will be donating $10 for each film I complete to the Alameda County Community Food Bank here in Oakland, CA.

I am doing this year's Hooptober for charity and will be donating $10 for each film I complete to the Alameda County Community Food Bank here in Oakland, CA.
Last years Hooptober 5.0 was a monster blast, and I want to push myself harder to rocket past the record I set last year of 300 watched films, so for a tougher challenge this year I'm attempting to select unique films for each ruleset.
We'll see how it goes!
See @cinemonster's list for the ruleset.
The following are a couple modifications I've made to their prompts:
· Instead of two women-directed films, I'm screening four.
· Screening the entire It's Alive series because RIP Larry Cohen.
· Four films with a black director and/or predominately black cast (instead of one).
· Adding a bonus inclusion of the House series because I've been meaning to see it, and fuck it I'm already over 50 films might as well add another four.
· Two (instead of one) Tobe Hooper films to fill out my Tobe backlog.
· And finally, capping it off with a screening of the WNUF Halloween Special on Halloween Night for obvious reasons.
I also tried to pull as much from my watchlist and physical copy backlog as I could. All that said, the following are my choices for this years Hooptober Spectacular Celebration Bonanza:
