Very well made, but commits the unforgivable sin of basically forgetting about Marisa Tomei after the first thirty minutes, when she was the character whose reactions and emotional states I was most interested in learning about. Looks great, a couple of very nice character moments, especially early on, but sort of flat in most other regards, at least for me

An absolute blast. Love the central metaphor of the glass onion, because it turns out the only thing more fun than a dumb-looking thing that turns out to be smart, is a smart-looking thing that turns out to be dumb, but in a smart way.

    Love me some clever bullshit

As a lifelong Weird Al fan who has seen him live an embarrassing number of times, I could not help but love this incredibly dumb, silly movie. That said, I acknowledge that it's doing a similar bit to Walk Hard, but slightly worse, so I'm gonna go bump my rating for that half a star as penance.

(Just realized this is my second review in a row that's fixated on my rating. Is this site breaking my brain? Probably! But it's breaking it in a much more enjoyable way than twitter did, so oh well)

Was truly not expecting this to be maybe the funniest movie of the year.

Not mind-blowing, or ever super tense/scary, but I had a VERY good time. The dessert course had me cackling.

Ate a burger right before the movie, and would have gotten another immediately after if the drive-through line at In N Out had been shorter
