really fantastic sound design and an emotionally gripping story. constantly surprised me in a good way, never falling back on easy storytelling cliches. just a tender movie all around ~

doesn't quite have the same depth or chemistry as god's own country but it was still good. i like that francis lee is carving out his niche of "gay romance with people doing complicated manual labor"

can't imagine ever calling another human being "mank." probably closer to 7.5/10 but I'll round up for my boy finchy.

everything about this was great. love everyone in it, very funny, very heartwarming, just great all around.

hits some familiar notes but executed exceptionally well. powerful performances, compelling writing, beautiful cinematography. steve mcqueen is one of the greats!!

watching margot is always a DREAM and there were several good moments in this but they kinda didn't culminate in much and the ending didn't really LAND

gets kinda buckwild by the end but overall pretty tense and exciting. would hate for sarah paulson to stare at me intently
