Eaten Alive! The Rise and Fall of the Italian Cannibal Film ★★★

Oddly amusing to see a documentary so openly contemptuous of its subject. Nothing really noteworthy about this standard assemblage of clips and talking heads, but it's entertaining fluff for anyone inexplicably fond of seeing Lenzi and Deodato bicker over who deserves credit for initiating one of the most regrettable cycles in genre film history.
