Esther Rosenfield’s review published on Letterboxd:
I've had this film on the brain recently and decided it was time for a rewatch. Still an extraordinary accomplishment, one of the best animated films ever made. I was struck this time by its use of CG, which is so gorgeously stylized compared to the soul-sucking void that is most modern CG animation (Spider-Verse nonwithstanding). That Red Sea sequence is still breathtaking. The Steve Martin/Martin Short comic relief priests remain a weird (surely studio-mandated) move but they're not too much of a downer. Great great film.
