After watching the new "Evil Dead Rise", I immediately had to come home and watch the OG, the GOAT, the 1981 classic, "The Evil Dead". After so many rewatches, this one simply never gets old. From the amazing Bruce Campbell, to the incredible score and the stellar special effects that you just don't come by nowadays, "The Evil Dead" remains one of my favorite horror films of all time.

An incredible film that encapsulates loneliness, soul searching, soul mates, and much more oh so perfectly. The run time of the film floats by almost effortlessly and we reach the final moments of the movie before you even realize it. It's almost like a dream.
