"You have a soulmate?
Somebody who challenges you
I'm talking about someone who opens up things for you, touches your soul
You can't give back to them, you know
You'll never have that kind of relationship in a world where
You're always afraid to take the first step
Because all you see is every negative thing ten miles down the road
But you can do anything you want, you are bound by nothing"
After going so many years not seeing what is deemed one of the greatest films of all time, I had high expectations and ... don't get me wrong.. it was subjectively good, however I wasn't completely blown away like I expected. I thought it was quite lengthy for what it was and had plenty of bits of seemingly unnecessary dialogue, however I do think it was important for character development for the most part. What drew me to this movie was the late Mac Millers opening to the song "Soulmate" and that quote alone absolutely makes me feel the FEELZ, so overall, good movie but for the length don't think its one I would revisit often.
