  • The Girl Next Door

    The Girl Next Door

"So what's the craziest thing you've done lately?"

I honestly can't believe how well this aged. I absolutely loved this is a young tween in the 200`s and surprisingly found that I loved it just as much watching it nearly 20 years later. It's funny, it's raunchy, it's extremely sweet and adorable at times and has a great cast, most importantly, Timothy Olyphants epic role as "Kelly". The movie has a great soundtrack, a fun story and an awesome ending. An absolute 2000's classic that will be loved for a long time I think.

  • El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

"I've gone where the universe takes me my entire life. It's better to make those decisions for yourself."

After watching this a second time directly after a full re watch of the critically acclaimed "Breaking Bad" all I can really say is.... wow. What an epic masterpiece in all regards. Aaron Paul is somehow even better in El Camino than he was in breaking bad somehow. His performance in both is such a spectacle but there is just something about…

  • Midsommar

    "You're an ideal astrological match"

How is this movie SOO aesthetically pleasing but SOO fucking wild?
Ari Aster blows it out of the water with this one, probably being my favorite creation of his yet. It has such visually pleasing color, yet such disturbing shit going on throughout right up until the very end. It's one that you won't be able to look away from no matter how much you want to at times. I also can't help but fall…

  • Possession

"You're looking at me as if to tell me that I need you to fill me up"

Quite easily one of the best and most underrated horror films of all time "Possession" encapsulates the most grotesque yet amazing kind of horror you could ever imagine. It's disgusting and chaotic and there is something so fucking great about this one. Between the twisty timeline that has you constantly questioning what in the fuck is even going on, to the insane camera…

  • I Know What You Did Last Summer

I Know What You Did Last Summer

While I absolutely adored these types of slasher films as a young kiddo in the 90`s, this one just did not age well and did absolutely nothing for me watching it many years later as an adult. It's cheesy and subpar, actors that were relevant then but couldn't be anymore irrelevant now doesn't help either really. Nothing too memorable about this one, but still fun for what it is.

  • The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

    The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

A fun horror flick with plenty of gore, grossness and violence. One that I've seen several times and can still enjoy every few years without feeling bored.

  • Donnie Darko

“I think you’re the fucking Antichrist”

    Ok but.

    The soundtrack.
    The aesthetic.
    The cast.
    The script.

Chefs kiss. It can’t get much better.

I can never get over how great this movie is.  From start to finish, it’s absolutely perfect.  I’ll never forget the first time I watched it and how changed I felt as a person afterwards.  This cult classic is one that will be cherished for generations to come for all of its brilliance for sure. If you’ve never seen it you’re missing out.

  • Devil

An alright horror film for its time I feel like. I remember seeing this in theaters and liked it then but watching it now it is a little cheesy but overall it was enjoyable.

  • P2

Nothing to really say about this one. Boring and not scary or thrilling at all really.

  • V/H/S/2

Fun and a little better than the first IMO, a little cheesy at times but still enjoyable for most part.

  • V/H/S

Im surprised I never checked this one out! I adore found footage films and while this one had its weak moments, I thought it was quite effective and creepy. It had its boring moments where it felt a little cheesy but over all I enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing the other V/H/S films.

  • Possum

THE SYMBOLISM!!!! Holy shit I love this movie.

I just really enjoy dissecting  it  and analyzing it because it really is one hell of underrated film.
