Could have been worse.. but I think it also could have been better.

  • Banshee Chapter

    Banshee Chapter

I feel like this one had potential! There were moments that I felt like I had found a really awesome found footage film but other times when I was so annoyed by the movie. I know the character Thomas Blackburn was heavily influenced by the one and only Hunter S. Thompson but only felt like the character was soooo ripped off that it felt so ridiculously unauthentic and therefore lame. But again like I said there were moments in the…

  • Butterfly Kisses

    Butterfly Kisses

This definitely could have been better... but also could have been worse. Overall though, It kept my attention, and even though a few of the scenes were quite cheesy, it was still enjoyable for the most part.

  • Lake Mungo

    Lake Mungo

"I feel like something bad has happened. It hasn't reached me yet but it's on its way."

Absolutely love found footage and been on a huge found footage binge lately watching as many as I can and I this was on I had heard of several times but never checked out. This one definitely had it's moments and told an interesting story, however this one wasn't quite for me.

  • Dogtooth

"Do you know what dad will do if he finds out I lick your keyboard"

Ok Ok, I see why this one always makes the list for "incredibly fucked up films" however it wasn't what I expected nor did it impress me much. Yes, it had a few scenes that were hard to watch, but for the most part, it was a little too weird and far fetched for my taste, nor did I like the last few scenes. For…

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I freaking love Ben Affleck and was eager to see him in this. I also was super excited to see Jacob Elordi in this one, and while I thought it was an interesting story, I was waiting for a bigger twist, and was sure that I knew that Affleck was innocent although that's obviously not the case. I thought it was again, a little lengthy and dragged at times and some things just felt like unnecessary filler bull shit that had no bearing, or shit that felt so cringy and gross about the characters. Not anything special but interesting I suppose.

  • Wrong Turn

    Wrong Turn

Wasn't here nor there on this one. I thought it was an interesting twist compared to the original "Wrong Turn" and thought they did a pretty good job with it, although I will say I thought it was a little lengthy for what it was. I liked it but didn't love it.

  • Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

You know.. this wasn't completely terrible but it also wasn't anything great. I felt like it had some potential. Again, I think this was another that could have easily been made into a mini series or anthology and had much more effect however I think this was ok! I've always heard mixed reviews about it and mostly bad ones at that... but I found it to be ok. I definitely don't think it did the original books justice but hey…

  • Halloween Kills

    Halloween Kills

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I had pretty high hopes for this one, but most of the time during the movie I was asking myself what the fuck was even going on. The flashbacks and the tying in to certain Halloweens from the past was a bit convoluted to me and once I actually figured out who was who and what was what, I felt annoyed that they even made a point to tie in to the story. A lot of it felt irrelevant, (who…

  • Unfaithful

I forgot how melodramatic this movie is. I really only revisited it to see Richard Gere hit a dude in the head with a snow globe a few times. haha.
Watching it as a kid I was pretty impressed and thought it was super scandalous. As an adult, this really just felt like a super cheesy Lifetime movie, just with pretty decent sex scenes. The weird camera angles with random zooming in felt so ridiculous and the ending was anti climatic and boring.

  • The Little Things

    The Little Things

I'm surprised at how much I disliked this. While we see some great performances from the entire cast... the storyline just didn't do it for me. I liked certain scenes that were quite gruesome but otherwise I found myself heavily disappointed, especially with the ending. I thought Leto was stellar in this and really think the guy is underrated as hell. An ok movie, but definitely didn't live up to my hopes about it.

  • First Girl I Loved

    First Girl I Loved

Ok i guess. Just put it on to pass the time. Easy to watch, straight to the point 🤷‍♀️
