    Good Will Hunting

    "You have a soulmate?
    Somebody who challenges you
I'm talking about someone who opens up things for you, touches your soul
You can't give back to them, you know
You'll never have that kind of relationship in a world where
You're always afraid to take the first step
Because all you see is every negative thing ten miles down the road
But you can do anything you want, you are bound by nothing"

  • Jurassic Park

    Jurassic Park

Haven's seen this since childhood but decided to revisit the trilogy and was surprised at how awesome this still is almost 30 years later! I enjoyed this big time.

  • White Chicks

Incredibly funny even all these years later.

  • The Bob's Burgers Movie

    The Bob's Burgers Movie

Was super excited for this movie and it did not disappoint. Easily one of the best shows around, the characters are so likeable and I really enjoyed this movie. Nothing negative to say really. If you're a bobs burgers fan, check it out, but even if you've never seen an episode you could still easily enjoy it regardless.

  • The Dry

    The Dry

Enjoyed this, not much else to say besides worth checking out, good cast and great performances all around.

  • Relic

Following a Tik Tok recommendation about this one, decided to give it a go and was surprised at how well made it was, and quite creepy throughout. After watching it, my partner looked into it because we weren't 100% sure on how to interpret the ending and after reading into others interpretations regarding losing a loved one to Alzheimer's or dementia, the ending felt much more sad in hindsight. Still a great movie. Australia stays killing it in movies and…

  • The Night House

    The Night House

Went into this one blind and didn't know much about it and was surprised that it ended up being decent. I like the different ways you could interpret the film and thought it represented depression, dark battles within self, and other mental health problems quite well. I love a movie that makes me think and this one did just that. It had plenty of creepy yet enjoyable moments, lots of trippy sequences, and a decent story that kept you guessing.

  • The Notebook

    The Notebook

"It wasn't over.. it's still not over!"

as absolutely CHEESY as this is.. I can't help but love this one. I definitely think it has to do with the chemistry Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams share in this that make it so enjoyable even all this years later. There is something wonderful about it, and while the glimpses of Noah and Ally as old folks is nice (and sad at the same time) it really is magical to see their…

    127 Hours

"The minute I was born every breath I've taken, every action has been leading me to this crack out of the surface."

Not much to really say about this one. I've always loved this and thought it was executed really well, especially that ending where he finally gets out. Definitely a crazy story of survival, and I know for damn sure I wouldn't have made it out alive. lol

  • Bride of Chucky

    Bride of Chucky

    "Barbie... eat your heart out"

Ok but really? This is one of my all time favorite slasher films. As a child, I was never really into the Scream movies. I found them to be boring, I like them just a tad more as an adult but I am surprisingly STILL just as into the Chucky saga just as much as I had been as a child. When I watch them, a sense of childhood nostalgia washes over me, and if…

  • Halloween II

    Halloween II

This one definitely a classic but not nearly as satisfying as the first follows up immediately where "Halloween" left off and while it doesn't seem nearly as tense and terrifying as the first, still a great movie and epic staple in any film lover and Halloween fanatics collection. Fun to watch, easy and still stellar kills till the end. Not my favorite but definitely important in the Halloween saga. We plan to watch the rest of the Halloweens so I'm excited to watch them all and finish if off with the newest one at the end!

  • The Goldfinch

    The Goldfinch

"Your bird is safely back in the world."

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this one! I heard several mixed reviews, some stating the film was great and some stating the film sucked because it did not tell the same story the book had (hey, we all know the book is usually better than the movie anyways?) It turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. With a busy home life, it`s hard to find time to watch…
