The Butterfly Effect 2004
This is easily one of the most memorable films from the early 2000`s I saw as a kid and one that always stuck with me. I enjoyed it then and enjoy it just as much all these years later. I absolutely love the twisty time line you go into, I love Kutchers performance and think this was way ahead of its time. Pacing is good and even though it's long, it's one that holds your attention well.

Lolita 1997
"You look 100% better when I can't see you."
I was interested in checking out this version because I have mixed feelings on Stanley Kubricks version and this one turned out to be decent! It was a little lengthy but held my attention for the most part and was quite disgusted overall by our main characters obsession with his stepdaughter however I wasn't repulsed enough to stop watching. Overall, good movie.

The Dyatlov Pass Incident 2013
I am OBSESSED with the Dyatlov Pass Incident and have passed this movie by many times as "Devil`s Pass" title sounded incredibly cheesy but after finally giving it a go and quickly realizing what this was about... I honestly freaking loved it. The ending was definitely a little too much, but overall I really enjoyed it and for most of the movie, I thought it was done really well, and it definitely gave me the creeps, especially considering how interested…

Backcountry 2014
Ok but I honestly LOVED this movie. I had always heard a lot about the infamous bear attack scene but was skeptical but wow! Im so glad I checked this one out. The movie kept me captivated from start to end, and the bear attack scene was fucking brutal and one that will stay with me. I thought the practical effects were great and I really felt a sense of being scared for the main character as she deals with…

Playground 2016
If you've heard people talk about this but don't know much about it... go in blind. I saw this recommended on tik tok and did no research whatsoever, the person who recommended it said it was a traumatizing movie and we all know I love a good fucked up movie and this was definitely one of them. If you`re a true crime buff, this one will hit home for you because chances are youve heard about the true crime this…

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022
I was surprised at how good this one was! I had low expectations but was definitely impressed. Sure there were a few things that were arguably "silly" or "bad" but for the most part, the payoff was worth it. I enjoyed the cast, the kills, the storyline, the gore. I thought it was an awesome movie that is potentially even better than any Texas Chainsaws they've attempted to do in the past. Glad I checked this out and is definitely one I'll check out later on for a second time.

Grandma's Boy 2006
Been a while since I've reviewed movies but I wanna jump back in so figured I'd go back a while to movies I watched over the last few months and this one came to mind. There really isn't a whole lot to say about this one besides.. well.. it's a classic stoner movie that will be loved for generations to come. It's easy to watch, the jokes are crude and hilarious and there are tons of familiar faces and an easy to follow storyline. Love this one and can't really find anything to complain about.

The Girl Next Door 2004
"So what's the craziest thing you've done lately?"
I honestly can't believe how well this aged. I absolutely loved this is a young tween in the 200`s and surprisingly found that I loved it just as much watching it nearly 20 years later. It's funny, it's raunchy, it's extremely sweet and adorable at times and has a great cast, most importantly, Timothy Olyphants epic role as "Kelly". The movie has a great soundtrack, a fun story and an awesome ending. An absolute 2000's classic that will be loved for a long time I think.
