  Every scene develops a rich analysis of the western genre, the mythmaking of the Wild West, the concept of justice, and the crushing effects of violence. Some of the best writing ever for a film, complete control of tone and tension from Eastwood's direction, pretty much perfect.

  Good costumes and sets, Leslie Caron is fun, the lip-syncing is awful, none of the songs are good and there's no dancing, overall the movie is just uninteresting and uncomfortable.

  Outstanding on a technical level. The whole production is expertly put together and it succeeds in feeling period-accurate (something that most period-films don't come close to). The performances, sound design, and especially the dialogue lend a lot of authenticity to the movie.   I was writing a VERY long review but the more you think about this piece of shit the more it gets worse and worse. Boring while you watch it, offensive the second you give it any actual thought. Raimi shit is like 5% of it and the rest is atrocious fanfiction written by an 11 year old Doctor Strange stan and then revised by a hundred Disney executives. Outside of the tiny amount of Raimi shit there isn't any imagination…
