Better a pig than a fascist
The kind of beautiful, ambiguous movie I want to turn over and over in my mind like a river stone. Memoria looks at our complicated connection to other people, to other people’s trauma and memories, to geography, to history, to the lives and the bones of people who lived 6,000 years ago, even to things beyond Earth. And it sits in that uncertainty and dream logic rather than trying to leave us with any trite, definite answers. Also my cat went APESHIT at the car alarms.
