As much as I love the cast I can’t give more stars because it felt like a lifetime movie.
It was badly edited, so many time jumps and not enough focus on Ruth’s work or tenacity except for the last 20 minutes.
Fine performance but everything else is a mess.
More consistent review: the first part of the movie is carried by fine performance from the 4 leads, so you don't pay much attention to all defaults in the script (I'm lying you do but choose to ignore it hoping something will happen).
The rest of the movie: it's bad. I almost walk out of the theatre several times. I wonder why no one told Aronofsky how so many mistakes would ruin the movie. For example the first scene and the last scene? Bro, we get it no needs to spoils our own movie.
