It’s hard for me to put into words how much I love this film. It will forever be that film that never fails to warm my heart. It may not be the best film technically or thematically, but I am always able to maintain a smile on my face for the whole run time and that is something that no other film does for me.
On letterboxd I try to give some proper analysis in my reviews, but for this one I just can’t. No matter how dated or plot-less this film is to some people, I don’t care. I will never not be down to watch this with friends or by myself or at the cinema (which I want to see it in someday).
While many people cannot find that one film that they call their favorite, I am glad that I can and will always be able to. I hope everyone can find that film like Dazed is for me.
On a side note I haven’t been motivated at all to review, watch, or talk about any real films for a week or so now just because of life and whatnot, but I am going to get back into it soon and hopefully keep providing semi-decent content for all of you guys (who I adore). I have been feeling a bit distant and lonely lately, but George got me to watch it with him tonight and it was just what I needed, and it was a lot of fun just talking about a film I love with a friend. Anyway just to close, the biggest themes in this film I think are friendship and accepting others, being an individual, and doing what makes you happy, and those are exactly the things I want to work on in my own life. I recommend this film to anyone and everyone.
