Evan B’s review published on Letterboxd:
exuberant fun from start to finish; ABBA’s music is fantastic and choreographed here with all the energy, emotion, and enthusiasm it deserves. Meryl Streep is phenomenal as always. Julie Walters stands out, too, as particularly hilarious and scene-stealing—but every performer seems to give it their all, and what results is a gloriously, unabashedly cheesy, sentimental spectacle that’s always a total joy to revisit. plus I have so much nostalgia from watching this as a kid!!
the part during “Lay All Your Love on Me” when all the manly dudes come marching out on the bridge with their goofy flippers has got to be one of the greatest moments in the history of cinema 😂
