The goal of the core collection is to acquire every movie screened at the cinema since 1979.

The challenge of a single screen theater is that you can’t show everything, so the collection also contains “Eveningstar Approved” titles -- films that we missed, films that were screened at other local theaters or just personal favorites of the staff.
