Fear of mirrors: unlocked
More coming tomorrow…
I’ve heard so much praise about this film, so going in my expectations were high…unfortunately this really disappointed me.
Johnny Depp is one of, if not my favourite actor here and he is fantastic, as well as the rest of the cast—I mean Iggy Pop is in this movie it’s awesome. The cinematography is stunning, the locations feel authentic and real, plus Neil Young’s score is pretty solid.
Unfortunately, the film never grabbed my full attention. Throughout I constantly was…
It’s been a few years since I had seen this, but it was just as perfect as I remember! Edward Scissorhands will always be one of my favourites films of all time and will always hold a special place in my heart…plus it’s ironic I wore a shirt that had Robert Smith’s face on it while watching!
Oh Sebastian Stan...I love you man...but now I'm a little bit scared of you...
Fresh is one of my favourite films of the year! I typically love these types of movies for some odd reason. I think it's because they push the line of reality and this one walks that line very strongly. Sebastian Stan & Daisy Edgar-Jones are both phenomenal here just as expected, but the grit to both their performances was outstanding.
Maybe it went on about 10 minutes too long, but if your stomach can handle it...I highly recommend this one!
Pixar's Turning Red goes for it in the boldest way possible and is easily the most divisive of the year so far...not the for the right reasons though. The stupid internet complaints from fragile people disliking the mention of puberty/periods is basically invalid, but the film just goes too over the top for me.
I think the idea on paper is really fun, but it's pushed way beyond its limited here. The messages—although great messages—are too on the nose for…
I finally was able to check this one out in theatres! Besides the annoying family sitting beside me, I had so much fun with this one.
I've only played about 10 minutes of the fourth game, so to be honest I have almost no experience with the lore of the game, so I'm judging this as a film more so than an adaptation.
The final choice in the third act of this film makes you rethink some of the choices,…
I've been listening to The Cure a lot recently, after my dad suggested them...plus this has been on my watchlist for years so I'm glad to finally check this off.
Absolutely brutal, heartbreaking, and all too real (obviously); Boys Don't Cry takes it time in the first two acts and definitely drags, but rips your heart out in the third act. An essential watch for those who know the story...which should be everyone.
Netflix’s The Adam Project is a super fun time, lead by some hilarious performances from Ryan Reynolds and Walker Scobell. Although it isn’t the most unique and memorable movie out there, it’s still a blast and never has a dull moment.

As a massive fan of the Foo Fighters, I was excited for this film and I had a blast! Is it the greatest film ever? Absolutely not...it's actually quite silly. I had a great time with it though and when you have a rock n' roll band starring in a horror movie, what more could you expect?
If you don't like The Foos then you probably will hate this movie because it is extremely cheesy and I fully admit that.…
As a superhero animated film it's alright...but as an adaptation of a beloved comic...it's quite bad.
This movie has a bunch of great things about it! The relation between Bruce & Selina is explored in great detail and I love that, but they completed removed some of the most important details/scenes from the comic.
Also I'm not sure if I'm the only one who notices this, but some of these films love to have their camera shake like crazy during the…
Round 2 and it was just as good! I mean it when I say this is one of the best films I've seen...
The perfect ending to the best trilogy of all time. This film will never get the true amount of praise it deserves...
